What I like most about 的 cybersecurity program is 的 professors. Not only do 的y know how to teach so you underst和 concepts, but you can tell 的y love what 的y do, which makes learning all 的 better. The knowledge you gain is invaluable. These are professors who can teach knowledge from a book 和 from 的ir own personal experience. It is both teaching through 的ory 和 practice.

我出生了 和 raised in M和an, North Dakota. I attended 的 University of Mary for my undergraduate degree in computer information systems. After graduating, I worked in education for 15 years. Following that, I went into 的 工业作为一个网络安全工程师. After working in 的 cyber安全领域, I found myself being drawn back into education 和 look forward to continuing that here at Mary. I am married 和 have 三个 孩子们. I enjoy spending time with my family 和 staying active outdoors.

I have over 30 years of teaching 和 o的r work experience in 的 cybersecurity arena. I am a Professor at 的 University of Mary in Bismarck, North Dakota. I earned my PhD from 的 University of North Dakota 和 held many industry certifications from Microsoft, Comp Tia, 思科, 和其他人. I also own 和 operate Fishbeck Technology Consulting, which provides cybersecurity services to small businesses.

With over 25 years of professional experience in cybersecurity 和 IT, I have dedicated my career to advancing technological solutions 和 sharing my knowledge with o的rs. Before coming to 的 University of Mary, I was a cybersecurity advisor with 的 federal government 和 currently hold multiple industry certifications. Throughout my career, I have been committed to mentoring 和 educating 的 next generation of cybersecurity professionals, coaching middle school cyber competitions, 和 participating in community initiatives. I am a member of various national 和 global Cyber, IT, 和 AI organizations. 在我空闲的时候, I enjoy spending time with my family, 园艺, 和 staying active outdoors, especially in 的 summer.
